Carol Loretta Bolen Charles, age 58, of Acre Heights in Lincolnton, NC, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024. Mrs. Charles was born July 27, 1965, in McDowell County, West Virginia, daughter of Ruby White Bolen and the late Joe Bolen.
Mrs. Charles is survived by her husband, Roger Lee Charles of the home; son, Justin Robert Charles of Lincolnton, NC; daughters, Samantha Charles of Lincolnton, NC, Sarah Maynor of Newton, NC, and Jessica Charles of Lincolnton, NC; brothers, Joe Bolen Jr. of Virginia, Thomas Bolen of Lincolnton, NC, Everett Bolen of Pilot Mountain, NC, Chris Bolen of Lincolnton, NC, and Frankie Bolen of Lincolnton, NC; sisters, Connie Rosenbalm of Stanley, NC, Denise Hazelwood of Hudson, NC, and Donna Friday of Lincolnton, NC; and grandchildren, Jayleigh, Jordan, Kaiden, Evelyn, Skylin, and Koan.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Charles was preceded in death by her step-son, Jason Charles; and sisters, Brenda Tackett and Wanda Martin.
A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Levine Children’s Hospital, Levine Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 32861, Charlotte, NC 28232-2861.
