Johnny Woodruff, Sr., age 76, of Lincolnton, died on Monday, July 10, 2023.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 17, 2023, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Priest Elizabeth Tester officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 16, 2023, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.
Johnny was born December 18, 1946, in Watauga County, to the late Herbert and Dare Townsend Woodruff. He worked as a painting contractor.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Fredrick Woodruff of Lincolnton; three sons, Von Woodruff (Misty) of Lincolnton, Chris Gay (Kristen) of Wilson, NC, and Todd Cooke of Lincolnton; daughter, Tina W. Keller of Lincolnton; twin sister, Jenny McCaslin of Lincolnton; two brothers, David Woodruff of Lincolnton, and Cecil Woodruff of Florida; ten grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Warlick Funeral Home, PO Box 1407, Lincolnton, NC 28093, towards funeral expenses.
