Imogene Sigmon Garrison

Imogene Sigmon Garrison, age 85, of Peak Resources in Gastonia, and formerly of the Philadelphia Church Road in Lincolnton, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Marcus Redding officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.
Mrs. Garrison was born July 25, 1937, in Lincoln County, to the late Rannie and Estelle Arney Sigmon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Garrison; sister, Betty Hord; and brother, Glenn Sigmon. She worked as a quality control inspector in textiles.
She is survived by her sons, Lee Garrison (Raquel) of Lincolnton, and Allen Garrison (Michelle) of Juliette, GA; sister, Naomi Chapman of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Lindsey Dover, Drew Brogden (Bethany), Miranda Towery (Chris), Seth Garrison (Brittany), Hannah Garrison, Lanier Justice, and Lance Rhodes; and four great-grandchildren, Samantha Dover, Dylan Dover, Liam Blackman, and Savannah Blackman.
Memorial gifts may be made to Salem Baptist Church, Steven Wayne Garrison Scholarship Fund, 1982 Salem Church Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
