Mary Lane
( September 18, 1932 - December 17, 2022 )
Mary Lane, 90, of 3277 Emerson Way, Lincolnton, died December 17, 2022.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lane born on September 18, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Gilford and Eliza Tate. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lane; two sisters, Betty Jo Wilson and Alice Smith; three daughters, Dorothy Boyd, Jeannie Lane and Brenda Guffey; two sons, Isaac Lane and Joe Guffey and her grandson, Johnboy.
Survivors include her sons, Danny Lane and wife, Anita Lane of the home and Harold Guffey of Rutherford County; her daughters, Loretta Marlow and Florence Kennedy of Kings Mountain, Linda Edwards of Rutherford County, Lucy Carpenter, Tasha Lane and Bertie Bradshaw all of Lincolnton; her brother, Norris Tate of Rutherford County; 20 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and a number of great-great-grandchildren.
