Maryanne Stroupe Sisk

Maryanne Stroupe Sisk, age 86, of E. Highway 150 in Lincolnton, died on Monday, December 12, 2022.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2022, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Pugh officiating. Burial will follow in Catawba Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sisk was born May 6, 1936, in Lincoln County, to the late Earl A. Stroupe and Mattie Tutherow Stroupe, and Emma Stroupe who raised her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers, and three sisters. Mrs. Sisk worked as a meat wrapper and cashier for 41 years at Zingo’s in Delaware. She was a wonderful, loving woman that will be missed dearly.
She is survived by a son, Herman Sisk, Jr. (Teresa) of Bear, DE; two daughters, Barbara Duhon (Larry) of the home, and Rita McGuigan of the home; grandchildren, David Hammerer, Steven Hammerer, Thomas Sisk, Alyssa Martinez, Travis Duhon, Michael Pinder, and Marylou Agee; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court Glen Allen, VA 23060.
