Ronald Gray "Redd" Watson

Ronald Gray “Redd” Watson, age 66, of 2016 Carpenters Square Road in Crouse, died on Monday, February 7, 2022.
“Redd” was born March 8, 1955, in Norfolk, Virginia, to the late Melvin Howard Watson and Nellie Mae Speight Watson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a brother, Eugene Watson. He worked for Coca-Cola as a diesel mechanic for 23 years and in his spare time loved fishing and working on cars.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Bonny Sue Price Watson of the home; son, Ronald Watson, Jr. “Squirt” (Nancy) of Gastonia; sisters, Rebecca Hughes (Steve) of Chesapeake, VA, and Ida Page Hamilton of Norfolk, VA; four granddaughters, Kelsey Unsworth, Ashlie Watson, Hannah Hightower, and Regan Watson; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
