Samuel “Sammy” Robert Hager, age 59, of Shady Grove Road in Lawndale, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Warlick Funeral Home. Masks are required while inside the funeral home.
Sammy was born November 12, 1962, in Iredell County, to Marie King Hager and the late Dean Hager. He worked in tractor trailer sales and services.
He is survived by his wife Susie Straughan Hager of the home; fur babies Lambchop and Pebbles; his mother Marie Hager of Denver; mother-in-law Pat Straughan of Lincolnton; sister-in-law Kim Elmore (Allan) of Lawndale; sisters Tammy Crosby (Paul) of Denver, and Tina Hart (Mike) of Myrtle Beach, SC; and nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Happy Tails Rescue, Inc., PO Box 84, Maiden, NC 28650. Venmo and Paypal are accepted – in memory of Sammy Hager.
