Jimmy ‘Spankey’ Campbell, age 51, of 5447 Crouse Road in Crouse, died on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.
His funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022, in the Warlick Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:15 until 11:15 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Masks are required while inside the funeral home.
‘Spankey’ was born May 13, 1970, in Gaston County, to Kenneth and Darlene Messer Campbell. He worked as a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Lauri Barnhart Campbell of the home; daughters, Katie Wise and husband Matthew of Crouse, and Randi Cruz and husband Alex, all of Lincolnton; son, Shawn Wilder of the home; brothers, Scott Campbell of Vale, Bruce Campbell of Gastonia, and Josh Campbell of Belmont; sisters, Lindsay Seleski of Ohio, Angie Evans of Mt. Holly and Mary Daigle of Mooresville; his parents, Kenneth and Darlene Campbell of Belmont; and three grandchildren, Rogan Cook, McKenna Cook, and Emma Wise.
