Linda Dianne Leonhardt Finger
( April 15, 1941 - January 30, 2022 )
Linda Dianne Leonhardt Finger, age 80, of Long Shoals Road in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, January 30, 2022.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Long Shoals Baptist Church with Pastor Wesley Ingle officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
Mrs. Finger was born April 15, 1941, in Lincoln County, to the late Sumner “Pokey” Leonhardt, Jr. and Clara Mae Sigmon Leonhardt. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded by her husband, Joel Dean Finger, and a brother, Danny J. “Buck” Leonhardt. She was a department manager for Walmart.
She is survived by three daughters, Dana Ellenburg (Tobie Kakas) of Hickory, Tina Beal (Brad) and Anessa Avery (Trey) of Lincolnton; two sons, Jason Finger (Tricia) of Evansville, IN, and Joshua Finger of St. Thomas, USVI; grandchildren, Grace Avery, Savannah Finger, and Zach Avery; sister, Barbara Jean Stamey of Lincolnton; numerous nieces and nephews; and dear cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
