Maryanne Gontis Humphrey

Maryanne Gontis Humphrey, age 80 of Sherrills Ford, NC and previously of Somerset, PA passed away on December 19, 2021 at Lincolnton Rehabilitation Center in Lincolnton, NC.
She was born December 29, 1940 in Somerset, PA. She was the daughter of the late Anne and Joseph Gontis, Sr. of Boswell, PA. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death a brother Joey and her husband William Humphrey whom she was married to for 36 years.
She is survived by sisters, Rosalie Gontis Cramer of Sherrills Ford, NC and Bonnie Gontis Trent of Stoystown, PA; also survived by nieces, Tonya Cramer Brown, Jessica Gerula Windsor and nephews, Jeffrey Cramer and John Gerula.
Maryanne was an extremely devoted daughter and loved family deeply. Her greatest “hobby” was her pride in her sense of fashion and love of shopping.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
