Frances Elaine Hester Burgess

Frances Elaine Burgess, age 68, of 168 Cochrane Road in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Luke Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Burgess was born April 22, 1953, in Lincoln County, to the late Lathan Wilson Hester and Myrtle Lee Davis Hester. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Benjamin Burgess; and sisters, Janie Hester and Ann Hardin. Frances was the owner of Stroup’s Car Wash.
She is survived by her children, Mike Patterson of Lincolnton, Barbara Lloyd (Harry) of Lincolnton, Justin Burgess (Amber) of Crouse, and Jennifer Hoffman (Devin) of Taylorsville; six grandchildren, Harley, Elaina, Waylon, Scarlett, Travis, and Connor; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Bumgarner of Lincolnton; and brothers, David Hester and Lathan Hester, Jr. (Rhonda) all of Lincolnton.
