Margaret "Marge" Stetson Calloway

Margaret “Marge” Stetson Calloway, age 82, of Calloway Road in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, November 7, 2021.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Salem Baptist Church with Pastors Shea Houser, Johnny Caldwell, and Linny Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Calloway was born July 21, 1939, in Jersey City, New Jersey, to the late Ludwig Stetson and Mary Bailey Stetson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, David Calloway, and sister, Mary Mormarco.
She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Dobson (Robert) of Cherryville, Jo Ann Fariss (Jim) of Maryland, and Kim Cline (Rick) of Lincolnton; two brothers, John Stetson (Joan) of Wilmington, and Louie Stetson of New Jersey; sister, Alice Hutchings of New Jersey; three grandchildren, Misty Holtzman (Jimi) of Cherryville, Joshua Shaffer (Beth) of Delaware, and Cody Cline of Lincolnton; two great-grandchildren, Phoenix Holtzman and Harper Shaffer; numerous nieces and nephews; sister-in-law and close friend, Irene Calloway; nurse Angie, and other special “porch” friends, Deane, Peggy, Rick, and Mary; and other special family members.
Memorials may be made to Salem Baptist Church, 1982 Salem Church Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092, or to Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region, PO Box 470408, Charlotte, NC 28247.
