Jessie Owens Baggett, age 70, of Peachtree Street in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.
Jessie was born June 12, 1951, in Clarksville, Tennessee, to the late Carl and Clara Johnson Baggett. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Baggett. He worked as a forklift operator.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Wittich Baggett of the home; son, Charles O. Baggett; daughter, Laura Kruse; brothers, Tommy Baggett and Wendell Baggett; sisters, Gail Valiente and Marie Lump; four grandchildren, Charles Kruse, Benjamin Kruse, Mary Davis, and Micala Suliatrault; and three great-grandchildren, Benjamin Kruse, Leo Kruse, and Marshall Davis.
