Mahala Ritner Bene, age 70, of West 2nd Street in Cherryville, died on Friday, August 6, 2021.
Mrs. Bene was born August 19, 1950, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to the late Julian and Dora Hulse Alston. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Francis Bene. She served in the United States Air Force and later worked as a secretary for a tank engine manufacturer.
She is survived by a son, Emmett Brown of the home.
