Samuel Harold Smith

Samuel Harold Smith, age 84, of Conway Smith Lane, Maiden passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021.
His funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Friendly Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Smith was born on October 9, 1936 and was the son of the late Richard and Florence Gales Smith. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Mr. Smith was retired from the furniture industry. He loved farming, especially his chickens and cows. Harold was a friend to all.
He is survived by his wife, Ada Smith of the home; two daughters, Wanda Conway and husband, Michael of Maiden, Carolyn Smith of Maiden; two granddaughters, Kayla Conway of Winston-Salem and Abbey Conway of Greensboro and numerous nieces and nephews.
