Christopher Allen Borst

Christopher Allen Borst, age 64 of Oakwood Circle in Sherrills Ford passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021.
Mr. Borst was born July 12, 1956 in Mt. Kisco, New York to the late Herbert S. and Constance Borst. He was a retired land developer.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon L. Borst of the home; two sons, Connor Evan Borst and wife Hailey of Raleigh and Alexander Shaw Borst of Sherrills Ford; two sisters, Lisa Borst of New Hampshire and Judy Borst of California.
Chris was a loving and caring man who enjoyed being outdoors on the lake with his family, fishing at the beach, and watching his two sons grow into the men he raised them to be. Chris and his wife, Sharon, relocated to North Carolina from Virginia in 1995 to start new careers and begin their family. Over the years he enjoyed watching his two sons excel in school and sports as he was always an involved parent on the sidelines whether it be keeping score at Alex’s baseball games or video taping Connor’s little league football games. Just recently he was able to witness the wedding of his oldest son Connor as he married his beautiful wife, Hailey. Chris was a man of many talents. He could build, fix, repair, and redesign anything he set his eyes on and his love of cooking allowed him to always share his passions with his family.
Ultimately, the most important characteristic of Chris was that he believed and trusted in God. That no matter what curveballs life threw at him, he continued to trust and persevere knowing that God was faithful in His promises.
Services for Mr. Borst will be private.
