Johnny A. Rollins

Johnny A. Rollins, age 73, of 397 Keener Acres Street in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, November 22, 2020.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Jonathan Smith officiating. The body will lie in state from 12:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 30, at Warlick Funeral Home for those wishing to sign the guest register.
Johnny was born January 21, 1947, in York County, South Carolina, to the late John William Rollins and Agnes Ruth Tinker Rollins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John Rollins; four sisters; and two brothers. He was retired from Ethan Allen.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Bost Rollins of the home; son, Sloan Rollins of Lincolnton; daughter, Wendy R. Hovis (Mike) of Lincolnton; daughter-in-law, Wendy Rollins of Lincolnton; brother, Randy Rollins of Lincolnton; sister, Jeannie Jones of Lincolnton; four grandchildren, Corbin Hovis (Holly), Allison Hovis Buchanan (Michael), Shelby Rollins Barkley (Jared), and Seth Rollins; and two great-grandchildren, Isaiah Hovis and Tenley Hovis.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
