Guy S. Ramsaur

Guy S. Ramsaur, age 92, of Iron Station, died on Sunday, November 22, 2020.
A private graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte with the Rev. Dr. Stanley Spence and Rev. Phil Campbell officiating.
Mr. Ramsaur was born April 28, 1928 in Montgomery County, NC to the late Thomas James and Edith Robinson Ramsaur. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Jones Ramsaur; one brother, James Scarborough; one sister, Mildred Blanton. Mr. Ramsaur served in the Merchant Marines and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was the founder and former owner of Metrolina Sprinkler.
Survivors include his daughter, Cathy R. Buckner and husband Mark of Iron Station; granddaughter, Allison Buckner Parker and husband, Dr. Wes Parker of Advance, NC and great-grandson, Max Buckner Parker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Operation Backpack Fund, 201Robin Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
