Joyce Jacqueline Barnard Kistler, age 93, of Denver, died on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.
A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2020, at Hollybrook Cemetery.
Joyce was born August 2, 1926, in Mecklenburg County, to the late Helen Gertrude Barnard Bell. In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Harvey Kistler, and sister, Frances Thomas. She worked as a payroll clerk in the construction industry for 50 years.
She is survived by three daughters, Linda Kistler Etters (Joe) of Denver, Donna Kistler Suddreth (David) of Iron Station, and Patricia Caroline Kistler of Denver; two sisters, Elizabeth Yoos (Ronnie), and Doris Crider, all of Charlotte; seven grandchildren, Brett Etters, Bradley Etters (Carissa), Marcia McCarthy (Jason), Melanie Huss (Doug), Heather McLawhon (Jon), Michael Suddreth (Angela), and Matthew Suddreth (Leslie); great-grandchildren, Ella Etters, Ronnie Etters, Caris McCarthy, Conor McCarthy, William Huss, Owen Huss, Jack McLawhon, Maggie McLawhon, Brianna Suddreth, Amelia Suddreth, Harvey Suddreth, and Bonnie Suddreth; and her fur baby, Jack Kistler.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Lincoln County, PO Box 23, Lincolnton, NC 28093.
