Vernon Allen Boyd

Vernon Allen Boyd, age 70 of Lincolnton, NC passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020.
Vernon was an Army veteran and spent 25 years in the Lincolnton National Guard. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Mr. Boyd is survived by three sisters; Delton Cozart of Lenoir, Emma Magee and Tennie (Steve) Isaac of Lincolnton; two brothers, Lee (Ruth) Boyd of Vale and Butch (Kathy) Boyd of Lincolnton.
The family will have a visitation from 2:00 p.m. until 300 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Long Shoals Wesleyan Church Fellowship Building. The funeral will be private.
Memorials may be made to The Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy, 3032 Wesleyan Church Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
