Rev. Robert Louis Wiggins, Jr., age 65 of Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020.
Ordained Minister at Restoring Hope Ministries of North Carolina. Faithful servant of God, devoted son of Rev. Robert Lewis Wiggins, Sr. and the late Dollie Grigg Wiggins and stepson to Carol Marie Coleman Wiggins. Loving Father of Jonathan and David Wiggins. Loving grandfather of Haley, Ryan and Deanna Wiggins, brother to Cynthia Wiggins Stephens and her husband, Rev. Dan Stephens. Uncle to Travis, Rev. Brandon and wife Christy and Patrick Stephens. Great uncle to Phoebe, Zach, Lucy, Jackson and Benjamin Stephens. Stepbrother to Eric Cline and wife Wendy and Larry Jr. Cline. He will be greatly missed.
His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Stephens and Rev. Brandon Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in the Gaston Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home.
Rev. Wiggins was born April 16, 1954 in Burke County. Along with his ministry, he also worked as an insurance agent.
