Ralph Thomas "RT" Freeman

Ralph Thomas “RT” Freeman, age 92 of Lincolnton, died on Sunday, December 29, 2019.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Hollybrook Cemetery with Pastor Danny Trapp officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. at Warlick Funeral Home.
“RT” was born August 10, 1927, in Newport News, Virginia, to the late Kendrick Lacy Freeman and Reita Thomas Smith. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Elliott Freeman; and two grandsons, Christopher and Cameron Hallman. Mr. Freeman served in the United States Army and later worked as a sales representative for Nabisco.
He is survived by two daughters, Ann Freeman Hallman, and husband Randy, of Lincolnton, and Ellen Freeman Maddox , and husband Scott, of Salisbury; a sister, Linda Nichols of Matthews; two grandchildren, Ashley Maddox Knowles, and husband Aaron, of Lake Worth, FL, and Ryne Maddox of Raleigh; and three great-grandchildren, Kaiden Knowles, Salem Knowles, and Adley Knowles.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 114 W. Main Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
