Rev. Leon Davis

Rev. Leon Davis, age 80, of Camp Creek Road, Iron Station went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 14, 2019.
His funeral will be held at 1: 00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Painter officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Rev. Davis was born on May 10, 1939 and was the son of the late Jessie Davis and Elsie Brittain Davis. He was also preceded in death by eight siblings, Olivia Painter, Clinton Davis, Dolly Caldwell, Eula Chapman, Johnny Davis, Clyde Davis, Earl Davis and Jessie Davis, Jr.. Rev. Davis was the pastor of West Lincoln Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Hartsoe Davis of the home; two sons, Ronnie Davis and wife, Mary of Iron Station and Tony Davis of Iron Station; one sister, Polly Davis Heafner and husband, Lander of Crossnore, NC; three grandchildren, Rusty Davis, Aaron Davis and Daytona Foster and six great-grandchildren.
