David Allen Irby, Jr., age 40, of Lincolnton, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019.
A memorial service to celebrate David’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2019, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Tony Matthews officiating. The family will greet friends on Monday from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. at the church.
David Allen was born October 2, 1979, in Lincoln County, to David Allen Irby, Sr. and Theresa Hoyle Irby. He worked in manufacturing.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, David and Theresa Irby of Lincolnton; a sister, Jennifer Irby Hilburn, and husband Chad, of Charlotte; two aunts, Dawn Punch, and husband Aaron of Lincolnton, and Janet Davis, and husband Charles, of Ohio; nephew, Cameron Hilburn; niece, Caya Hilburn; and cousins, Duane Lee Evans, and son Deagan, of Ohio, and Ashley Burgin, and husband Michael, of Newton, and their children, Hayden, Paxton and Langston.
