Oscar Daniel Mauney, Jr.

Oscar Daniel Mauney, Jr., age 76, of Springs East Road in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, February 10, 2019.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Goudelock officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Mauney was born February 15, 1942, Gaston County, to the late Oscar Daniel Mauney and Lena Saunders Mauney. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a grandson, Casey Hotchkiss; and two sisters, Frances and Jessie
He is survived by his wife, Diane Mauney of the home; a son, Donald Mauney of Alexis; a daughter, Carrie Donna Williams; a sister, Betty Chapman of Crouse; a granddaughter, Sunny Harris; and three great-grandchildren, Haven Harris, Halia Smith, and Aleah Hartsell.
Memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, for the Robin Johnson Hospice House, 258 E. Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28054.
