Louie B. Smith

Mr. Louie B. Smith, age 88, of Laboratory Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, November 26, 2018.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Laboratory United Methodist Church with Rev. Meg Gaston and Rev. Ken Faulkenbury officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state for thirty minutes prior to the service. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Louie was born March 2, 1930, in Fentress County, Tennessee, to the late Oscar and Alta York Smith. He worked in textiles.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Madge Beattie Smith of the home; his children, Gary Smith, Randy Smith, and Lori Bowman; stepsons, Tony Milholland and Mike Milholland; a sister, Fae Culp of Concord; eighteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
