Ruby Christine Huss Dixon

Ruby “Christine” Huss Dixon, age 97, of Crouse, died on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at her home.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Bethphage Lutheran Church Cemetery with Pastor Rick Sloop officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Warlick Funeral Home prior to the graveside service.
Mrs. Dixon was born November 13, 1921 in Lincoln County to the late Noah C. Huss, Sr. and Ava Bess Huss. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Huss and Boyce Huss; two sisters, Mabel Greene and Thelma Hoyle. Mrs. Dixon retired from Mohican Mills where she had worked for 25 years. She loved gardening and babysitting her grandkids.
She is survived by one son, Garland Dixon and wife Kathy of Lawndale; two daughters, Ava Regina Bailey of Raleigh and Gayla Hoyle and husband Eugene of Crouse; one sister, Marie Sigmon of Cherryville; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
