Violet Novella Taylor Weaver

Violet Novella Taylor Weaver, age 87, of Lincolnton Rehabilitation Center in Lincolnton, slipped peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 23, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dan Carter and Pastor Danny Shortridge officiating. Burial will follow in High Shoals Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Weaver was born July 13, 1931, in Avery County, to the late John Walter and Myra Novella Thompson Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Weaver; a daughter, Shelia Diane Weaver Finger; brothers, Lawrence Taylor, Donald Taylor, Paul Taylor, John Walter Taylor, Jr., Leonard Taylor, and Allen Taylor; and sisters, Mildred Stamey and Vera Taylor. Mrs. Weaver worked in textiles.
She is survived by a sister, Dora Mullenax of Gastonia; two brothers, Kyle Ross Taylor of Asheboro and Louie Wade Taylor of High Shoals; and son-in-law, Walter “Frank” Finger of Lincolnton.
