Roger Eugene Gantt

Roger Eugene Gantt, age 64, of 586 Polo Trail in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, September 16, 2018.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at Roseland Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Brittain officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Roger was born August 27, 1954, in Lincoln County, to Marie Smith Gantt and the late Clarence Gantt. He worked in textiles.
He is survived by his mother, Marie Gantt of Long Shoals; a stepson, Leary Fredell of Long Shoals; a brother, Kenneth Gantt, and wife Sherry, of Lincolnton; two sisters, Debbie Black, and husband Reggie, and Angela Gantt, all of Lincolnton; fiancé, Shelia Franklin of the home, and her children, Shana, Robert, and Roger; grandchildren of the heart, Amanda, Clinton, Carol Anne, Cailin, Ashley, Julianna, Roger, Jr., and Grayson; and nieces and nephews, Chris, Stephanie, Cynthia, Johnathon, Brittany, Harlee, Ayden, Allison, Ava, Riley, Lily, Marshall, Tamara, and Xander.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Warlick Funeral Home for the Roger Gantt Funeral Fund, PO Box 1407, Lincolnton, NC 28093.
