Obituaries

Mrs. Marlean Jane White Clippard age 73, of Highway 27 West, Lincolnton, died Saturday, August 4, 2018.

Her funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2018 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Monday prior to the funeral at the funeral home.

Mrs. Clippard was born on March 24, 1945 and was the daughter of the late Buford and Mary Evelyn Hubbard White.  She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bill White and Gene White

Mrs. Clippard is survived by her husband, Donald Clippard of the home; one son, Gary Dean Sain and wife, Wanda of Valdese; two daughters, Rhonda Denise Jenkins and husband, David Jamison of Lincolnton and Evelyn “Jeanette” Lingerfelt and husband, Martin of Lincolnton; one brother, C.M. White and wife, Pat of Lincolnton; two sisters, Shirley Moore and husband, R.V. of Vale and Hazel Gibson and husband, Mike of Gastonia; four grandchildren, David Nidiffer, Anna Major, Amanda Lingerfelt and Ashton Lingerfelt; two great-grandchildren, Hayli Sayre and Brian Major.
