Obituaries

Bonnie Mae Justice Davis, age 71, of Fernwood Road in Lincolnton, died on Friday, August 3, 2018.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Davis was born January 29, 1947, in McDowell County, to the late Winfred and Lennie Mae Pope Justice.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, William David Justice; two sisters, Joyce Legg and Anna Mae Dillingham; one grandson, Brandon Davis.  She worked at Dillard’s Department Store in Hickory as a sales clerk for 28 years.

She is survived by her husband, Haskel Davis of the home; one son, Haskel Davis, Jr., of Waynesville, NC; three daughters, Dianna Messer of Clyde, NC, Patty Teague of Waynesville, NC and Teresa Davis of Texas; two brothers, Ronald Dean Justice of Newton, Rev. Donald Lee Justice of Old Fort, NC; one sister, Wilma “Helen” Wills of Marion, NC; ten grandchildren, Brandi Teague, Rachael Frady, Blake Messer, Gavin Seguin, Ashley Seguin, Alicia Seguin, Michael Davis, Hunter Davis, Bryson Davis, Connor Davis; seven great-grandchildren, Kinley Teague, Kayden Teague, Lennox Frady, Lyndon Seguin, Luxxen Seguin, Isabela Seguin and Japetha Seguin; and her two special canine companions, Miss Molly and Annie.
