Oswald Byron Lynch
( June 26, 1958 - February 1, 2018 )
Oswald “Ozzie” Byron Lynch, age 59, of Tomes Road in Lincolnton, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 1, 2018.

His homegoing service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2018, at Moore’s Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor James Bullard officiating.  Quiet time will be from 1:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Warlick Funeral Home.  

“Ozzie” was born June 26, 1958, in Lincoln County, to the late Josephine Metts Lynch.  Oswald graduated from Lincolnton High School in 1976.  He worked as a surgical attendant at Carolinas HealthCare System Lincoln.  Mr. Lynch also worked at Cardinal Care and was always available to help those who needed special care.  He was a true community person that will be missed deeply.  

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Pamela McClain Lynch of the home; three sons, Robert Lynch, and wife Brenda, of Cherryville, Richard Lynch, and wife Shontaia, of Lincolnton, and Nicholas Lynch of the home; a daughter, Adrienne Lynch of Lincolnton; three brothers, Vaughn Lynch, and wife Judy, and Jack Lynch, all of Lincolnton, and Brooks “Chuddy” Lynch of Seattle ,WA; two sisters, Tracy Ray, and husband David, and Portia Williams; and nine grandchildren, Nehemiah Lynch, Princess Lynch, Rashad Lynch, R.J. Richard Lynch, Jr., Heaven Lynch, Alexcia Lynch, Aaliyah Lynch, Alyssa Ibarra and Alvin Ibarra.
