Lanelle Lowe Elmore
( February 8, 1938 - January 3, 2018 )
Lanelle “Mimi” Lowe Elmore, age 79, of 2892 Paul Elmore Road in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, January 3, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2018, at Gainsville Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Devine and Rev. Brad Painter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service. Visitation will be from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Elmore was born February 8, 1938, in Lincoln County, to the late William Edward and Alvanell Bradshaw Lowe. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Lowe. She worked as a supply clerk for JP Stevens. Lanelle loved her work and kids at Maryvale Day Care during the past several years.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Elmore of the home; a son, Mike Elmore of Lincolnton; a grandson, Walt Elmore of Newton; a brother, Wayne Lowe, and wife Jane, of Terrell, NC; two sisters, McGretta Lowe Garrison and Beth Lowe Abernethy, both of Lincolnton; and sister-in-law, Judy Lowe of Lincolnton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gainsville Baptist Church, 270 Gainsville Church Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
