Walter Frances Loftin

Mr. Walter Frances Loftin, age 87, of the Lincolnton Rehabilitation Center, and formerly of Lee Lawing Road, died on Monday, August 15, 2016.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Randy Setzer officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Loftin was born April 10, 1929, in Lincoln County, to the late Fate M. Loftin, Sr. and Nellie Ewing Loftin. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Celestine Burke Loftin; a son, Ricky Loftin; and two sisters, Evelyn Loftin and Mary Jean Burns. He worked in textiles.
He is survived by five brothers, Morgan Loftin, Jr. of Lincolnton, Herbert Lee Loftin of Huntersville, Jerry W. Loftin and Terry Ellis Loftin, both of Lincolnton, and Tony Loftin of Denver.
