Betty Rose Little Howard, 82, of Raleigh, NC, died November 2, 2015.
Betty was born on August 10, 1933, the daughter of the late H.N. and Callie Little and was raised in Denver, NC. She graduated from Appalachian State University. She was an educator, avid reader, crafter, knitter and weaver. Betty was a founding member of the Wake Weavers Guild.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, T.C. Howard. Other survivors include her three children and seven grandchildren, Shannon Howard, his wife Kathy, their children, Callie, Aubrey and Elsie of Raleigh, NC; Roslyn Howard and partner Paul Convery of Boone, NC; and Katrina Fairley, her husband Kevin and their children, Cassity, Evan, Kayley, and Sabrina of Virginia Beach, VA; a sister, Shirley Mull of Denver, NC; and many other relatives and friends who will miss her smile and laughter.
Graveside service will be held 11am Thursday, November 5, Bethel United Methodist Church, Denver, NC.
Memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 7284 Campground Rd, Denver, NC 28037.
