Forrest "Jay" Cogdill

Forrest “Jay” Cogdill, age 23, of 3299 E. Highway 27 in Lincolnton, died on Saturday, October 31, 2015.
His funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Highland Drive Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Luke Johnson officiating. His body will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Monday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Jay was born May 17, 1992 in Lincoln County to Jay and Lois Flowers Cogdill. He was preceded in death by one sister, Allegra Cogdill and his maternal grandparents, Frank and Evelyn Flowers.
Survivors include his parents, Jay and Lois F. Cogdill of the home; one brother, Caleb Cogdill and wife Annamarie of Vale; one sister, Makayla Cogdill of Lincolnton, paternal grandparents, J.D. and Edna Mae Cogdill of Lincolnton; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
