Joyce Ann Starr Cloer

Joyce Ann Starr Cloer, age 81, of 121 Oak Street in Belmont, died on Tuesday, February 10, 2015.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 16, 2015, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jesse Bowles and Rev. Charles Curtis officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2015, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cloer was born November 6, 1933, in Catawba county, to the late Charles Edwin and Georgia Bolick Starr. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael Gaines Cloer, a brother Jack Starr, a sister Mary McCaslin, and daughter-in-law Tina Cloer. She worked as a sander for Cochrane Furniture.
She is survived by three sons, Michael Cloer of Augusta, GA, Terry Cloer and wife Karen of Belmont, and Tim Cloer and wife Lisa of Maiden; three daughters, Melinda Sherrill and husband Lee of Conover, Patricia Curtis and husband Charles of Gold Hill, and Janet Johnson of Lincolnton; twenty grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Donita Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
