Danny Forrest Pendleton

Danny Forrest Pendleton, age 72, of Crouse, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Gastonia First Assembly of God, 777 S. Myrtle School Road, Gastonia, NC 28052, with Pastor Dennis Boyce, Pastor Wayne Warren, and Pastor Joey Williams officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Danny was born June 5, 1952, in Lincoln County, to the late Forest Albert Pendleton and Rachel Carpenter Hurt. He served in the National Guard and later worked as a general superintendent in construction.
He is survived by his wife, Monica Caldwell Pendleton of the home; sons, Jeremy Isaac Pendleton (Kristy) of Cherryville, Matthew Pendleton (Jessica) of Crouse, and Derek Goodwin of North Myrtle Beach, SC; sisters, Linda Anthony (Sonny) and Lisa Strange, all of West Lincoln; five grandchildren, Carter Pendleton, Emma-Kate Pendleton, Bo Pendleton, Joanna Pendleton, and Keagan Goodwin; sisters-in-law, Sharon Caldwell Huss (Terry) of Fuquay-Varina, NC, and Tiffany Caldwell Chambers of Lincolnton; and countless nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made, in memory of Danny Pendleton, to the Church of God, Men and Women of Action, 960 Barnes Street, NE, Cleveland, TN 37312.
