Ruby Aileen Caldwell

Ruby Aileen Caldwell, age 87, of Asbury Church Road in Lincolnton, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Cooper and Rev. Jack Calloway officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Caldwell was born January 22, 1937, in Cleveland County, to the late Erman Ramsey and Girtha Moore Ramsey. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kemp Caldwell. She was an in-home daycare operator.
She is survived by a daughter, Shirley C. Wilkinson (Kenny) of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Jake Wilkinson (Kaleigh) and Ethan Wilkinson (Rebecca), all of Lincolnton; one great-grandchild, Eddie Wilkinson; three brothers, Calvin of MD, Steve of Lincolnton, and Sammy of SC; and five sisters, Carol of Concord, Virginia of Charlotte, Evelyn of Locust, Lavone of Charlotte, and Violet of SC.
Memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, 3387 E. Highway 150, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
