Janice Dellinger Caskey, age 82, of Iron Station, died on Sunday, March 10, 2024.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2024, in the Iron Station Cemetery.
Janice was born April 4, 1941, in Lincoln County, to the late William Joseph Dellinger and Mary Alice Abernethy Dellinger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers William Dellinger, Jr., and John Lee Dellinger. She was a Registered Nurse.
She is survived by her husband, Joe David Caskey of the home; sons, Perry Caskey (Teemi) of Blairsville, GA, and Scott Caskey (Lycrecia) of Iron Station; sister, Mary Joe Dellinger of Decatur, GA; granddaughter, Alexa Caskey and husband Bill Dragas; and her faithful furry companion, Baby Doll.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Christian Ministry of Lincoln County, PO Box 423, Lincolnton, NC 28093.
