Angelo "LA" Alfonzo Kimo Smith, II

Angelo Alfonzo Kimo Smith, II, (LA) age 30, of Horseshoe Lake Road in Lincolnton, went to sleep on Tuesday, March 5, 2024.

His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Commandment Keepers Church of the Living God, 982 Horseshoe Lake Road, Lincolnton, with Bishop Chris Caldwell and Pastor Frank Cauthen officiating.  Burial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday in the Commandment Keepers Church of the Living God Cemetery, 327 Carlyle Road, Troutman.  Quiet hour is from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. on Sunday prior to the service at the church.

Angelo was born July 29, 1993, to Angelo and Renee Smith.  He graduated from Lincolnton High School in 2011.  Since graduating from high school, he has been a successful entrepreneur selling his artwork and jewelry to customers (LA’s Art Designz) all over the United States through his many social medial platforms.  

Angelo was a faithful member of his church where he served as a Deacon and Minister of Music.  He touched many lives through his text and social media ministries.  He encouraged people with his smile and determination to always be positive no matter what he faced in life.  He always trusted God to keep him and take care of him in his darkest days.

He is survived by his parents, Angelo and Renee of the home; his sister, Isabella Smith; brothers and special helpers, LaShon Metts and Trevenn Johnson; grandmother, Gladys (Martha) Kennedy; grandfather, Alan Tabayoyon; great-aunt and uncles, Frank (Melissa) Cauthen, Georgia Daniels, and Sheila Lattimore; his other dad, Chris Caldwell; his other mom, Pamela (Larry) Boston; aunts and uncles, Janice Huff, Marcus (Edith) Smith, LC Smith, Jr., Stacey Smith, Dan Tabayoyon ,Raychelle (Jacob) Elder, David Tabayoyon, Robert Richey, II; his special friends, Deb Ballard and Bernard Moore; and so many cousins, friends, and loved ones.
