Sidney Lewis McCraven, Jr.

Sidney Lewis McCraven, Jr., age 76, of Hill Street in Dallas, died on Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2024, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronald Lackey officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Hardin with military rites. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Sidney was born November 12, 1947, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, to the late Sidney Lewis McCraven, Sr. and Doris Thompson McCraven. He was also preceded by other special family members. Sidney served in the United States Marine Corps where he was a sergeant. He later worked as an electronic service technician.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley McCraw McCraven of the home; daughter, Shelley Lassiter (Jon); son, Kristopher McCraven (Krystal); brother, Thomas Hartsoe; and granddaughter, Raegan Lassiter.
