Steven Hugh Zolnierowicz

Steven Hugh Zolnierowicz, age 70, of Highway 27 East in Lincolnton, NC, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024. Steven was born November 24, 1953, in Charleston County, SC, son of the late Leo John and Clara Hutto Zolnierowicz.
Steven was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was very proud of his years playing basketball at his alma mater, Francis Marion University in Florence, SC. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Mr. Zolnierowicz is survived by his wife of 30 years, Debbie Zolnierowicz of the home; daughter, April Hamilton (Kevin) of Raleigh, NC; step-children, Tyona Brackett of Cornelius, NC, and Shane Brackett (Trisha) of Mount Holly, NC; grandchildren, Logan Hamilton and Sayler Brackett; brothers, David Zolnierowicz (Geoffrey) and Ski Zolnierowicz (Kay); niece, Summer White (Hunter); nephews, Cooper White and Penn White; family friend, Chris Bohner; former wife, Jan Russell; and his beloved cat, Fluffy.
A memorial service for Steven will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Highland Drive Freewill Baptist Church in Lincolnton, NC, with Pastor Luke Johnson and Pastor Oscar Montes officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 11:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church prior to the service. Warlick Funeral Home staff will not be present at this service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lincolnton Seventh Day Adventist Church, 231 Hershel Lackey Rd, Lincolnton, NC 28092; or to Highland Drive Freewill Baptist Church, 2810 Highland Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
