Marie Saine Clark

Marie Saine Clark, age 88, of Reeps Grove Church Road in Vale, died on Monday, February 12, 2024.
Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Reeps Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Jonathan Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 3:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Marie was born December 17, 1935, in Lincoln County, to the late John Wesley Saine and Prue Helms Saine. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son-in-law Larry Somers; brother Ken Saine; and sister Lillian Smith. Marie was the owner and operator of Marie’s Crafts.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Wayne Clark of the home; two daughters, Kathy H. Somers of Lincolnton and Annette H. Bangle (Ronnie) of Rock Hill, SC; brother, Max Saine of Vale; two grandchildren, John Somers and Jake Bangle; and four great-grandchildren, Joncole Somers, Landon Bangle, Cooper Somers, and Addison Bangle.
