Patricia Helen Davis Reynolds
( May 6, 1938 - January 29, 2024 )
Patricia Davis Reynolds, age 85, passed away at home peacefully on January 29, 2024, with her family and friends close.

The funeral will be at Warlick Funeral Home at 11:00am on Saturday, February 3, 2024. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 10:00am. Rev. David Wyant will officiate.

Patricia, Pat or Patsy to family and friends, was born May 6, 1938, to Helen and Coy Davis. She married Herb Reynolds in 1959, and together they raised four children.  “Granma Pat” loved and positively influenced countless children. She could sing any baby to sleep or to giggles, whichever was needed.

She was an active member of Iron Station United Methodist Church and was involved in the United Methodist Women. She is remembered by many as a teacher of Bible and Sunday School and a member of the choir. She enjoyed singing in church, with the Golden Voices, and with family and friends. She enjoyed travel, antiquing, and volunteering at the local schools. Pat most recently volunteered for the Iron Station Elementary School Food Backpack Program. She dutifully and thoughtfully worked to ensure that students were well-fed.

Pat worked many jobs while taking care of her family, but was most proud of her time as a home health aide. In this position, she cared for and helped many people live more comfortably in their homes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and four siblings, Barbara McGuinn, Betty Nesbitt, Jean Monroe, and Glen Davis. She is survived by her brother, Richard Davis, by her children, Kayren McKnight (Jack), Carol Geary (Michael), Randy Reynolds (Bobbie), and Ward Reynolds (Renee), by her grandchildren, Chad Reynolds (Sara), Danielle Reynolds, Dylan McKnight, Allison, Joseph, Matthew and Jessica Geary, by her great-grandchildren, Caiden, Jade, Conner and Ashton Reynolds, and by her many loved nieces and nephews. She is also survived by supportive and loving friends, Katheryn Eurey, Ardenia Sain, and Mildred Maddox, who helped to ensure her ability to live and host happily in the home that she loved until the end.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Backpack Program at Iron Station Elementary (4207 Hwy. 27 East, Iron Station, NC 28080. Please direct the check to the school and write “backpack program” in the memo.) or Amy’s House (PO Box 476, Lincolnton, NC 28093).
