Robert Carroll Houk

Robert Carroll Houk, age 85, of Killian Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, January 11, 2024.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2024, in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Brad Wimberly officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. on Friday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Houk was born April 1, 1938, in Lincoln County, to the late James Robert Houk and Annie Armstrong Houk. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alva Lynette Wilfong Houk, and a brother John Wayne Houk. He served in the United States Navy, and later worked in heating and air and as a building inspector for Lincoln County.
He is survived by two sons, Robert Houk (Stephanie) of Johnson City, TN, and Mark Houk (Barbara) of Lincolnton; daughter, Becky Godfrey (John) of Lincolnton; and four grandchildren, Gabrielle, Olivia, Etta, and Taylor.
Memorials may be made to Massapoag Baptist Church, 2139 Laboratory Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
