Thomas Eli Dellinger, Jr.

Thomas Eli Dellinger, Jr., age 77, formerly of Crouse, died on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Lakewood Care Center in Denver.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Troy Howard officiating. The family will greet friends following the graveside service.
Mr. Dellinger was born October 23, 1946, in Lincoln County, to the late Thomas Eli and Geraldine Baker Dellinger, Sr. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Kay Wise. Mr. Dellinger was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served during Vietnam. He worked as an auto mechanic.
He is survived by a daughter, Cameron McDonald of Gastonia; two brothers, Dennis Dellinger of Vale, Curtis Dellinger and wife Zelda of Gastonia; one sister, Paulette Sain and husband Ronnie of Vale; brother-in-law, Larry Wise of Lincolnton; numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
