Peggy Sue Mauney Snyder

Peggy Mauney Snyder, age 80, of Mace Lane in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Karen Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Peggy was born September 23, 1943, in Lincoln County, to the late Guy Kenneth Smith and Nellie Eve Bivens Smith.
She is survived by her husband, Bradley A. Snyder of the home; son, Billy Melton Mauney (Liz) of Cherryville; three daughters, Beckie Sue Howe, Sandra Fay Lawrence, and Frances Gail Morgan, all of Cherryville; younger children, Rhyleigh Snyder and Julian Snyder, both of Lincolnton; brothers, Larry Smith and Ray Smith; sister, Ruby Smith Buchanan; eight grandchildren, Kevin Mauney, Fairley Grant, Rebecca Ford, Scott Mauney, David Mauney, Kimberly Morgan, Heather Morgan, and Laura Morgan; and eight great-grandchildren.
