Robert “Bob” William Cline, Jr., age 79, of Brookwood Road, Lincolnton passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023.
His funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jaie Warlick officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service.
Mr. Cline was born on July 23, 1944 and was the son of the late Robert William Cline, Sr. and Agnes Proctor Cline. He was retired from Carolina Freight as a truck driver.
Mr. Cline is survived by his wife, Trudy Meeks Cline of the home; son, Robert “Robby” Cline III (Tammy) of Lincolnton; two daughters, Sherri Cline Rhyne (Marty) of Mt. Holly and Amanda Cline Carpenter (Larry) of Lincolnton; eight grandchildren, Trevor Cline, Camaron Kincaid, Madalyn Rhyne, Hannah Rhyne, Mary Beth Hammill (Kyle), Robbie Kate Carpenter and twins, Kennedy and Keegan Carpenter; two great-grandchildren.
