Dorothy "Jerri" Smith

Dorothy “Jerri” Smith age 77, of Hestertown Road in Lincolnton passed away Friday, December 8, 2023.
Her visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. at the Lincolnton Church of God. Her funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Dr. Ron Martin and Rev. Donnie Wise officiating. A committal service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday in the Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith was born on August 17, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Roy Lee and Nellie Pearl Devine Simmons. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Danny Ray Smith. Mrs. Smith was retired after 30 years with Cochrane Furniture in Lincolnton.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her two daughters, Natalie Wise (Donnie) of Mooresville and Bunny Ingle (Mark) of Lincolnton; her two sons, Chad Smith (Natalie) of Lincolnton and Brad Smith of Charlotte; her sister, Shirley S. Parker of Maiden,
ten grandchildren, Heather Beard (Dylan), Cora Knowles (Evan), Seth Smith, Megan Hallman (Daniel), Breyden Beddingfield, Brooke Beddingfield, Bryce Beddingfield, Evan Wise, Bailee Wise, Luke Wise and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Mooresville Church of God, P.O. Box 1514, Mooresville, NC 28115.
